We’re looking for a driven and skilled Operations Manager to play a hands-on role in our day-to-day operations while building relationships and contributing to the growth of our business.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a multi-functional role critical to our operations and customer satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for driving dump trucks to customer sites and landfills, managing customer relationships, handling accounts receivable, overseeing warehouse operations, and performing maintenance and repairs on our equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and has strong organizational and management skills.

Driving & Delivery

Safely operate a dump truck to deliver dumpsters to customer locations and transport waste to landfills in compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Customer Sales & Relations

Engage with customers directly to understand their needs, deliver exceptional service, and ensure satisfaction with our services. Assist in generating new business through strong customer relationships and effective communication.

Accounts Receivable

Manage customer accounts, track payments, and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances. Work closely with the finance team to resolve billing issues and provide accurate financial records.

Repairs & Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation. Perform minor repairs as needed or arrange for third-party servicing on a timely basis.

Warehouse Management

Oversee warehouse organization, including inventory of equipment, tools, and materials. Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and compliant with all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in waste management, transportation, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong mechanical skills, with experience in equipment maintenance and minor repairs.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with basic accounting and invoicing processes.

• Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
